SUPER SOFT COTTON, cotton that feels like silk
With the firm goal of offering the knitting community the best and softest yarns, the Argentine company BUDETEX, through its yarn division B-TEX, developed the super soft combed cotton yarn line CORI CORI by B-TEX. This line features premium quality yarn with a matte finish and is currently exported from Argentina to over 15 countries around the world (including Singapore, Taiwan, Canada, the USA, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Chile, etc.).
This yarn was originally developed in 2019 in collaboration with the author of the "Pica Pau" amigurumi books, focusing on the world of amigurumi. It was launched in a pastel color palette and two thicknesses: Fingering (in 1.76 oz balls for clothing) and Worsted (in 3.5 oz balls for the bodies). After the commercial agreement ended, we renamed the yarn as CORI CORI, adding more vibrant colors and a new DK thickness in 7.05 oz cones designed for knitting garments and accessories.
This yarn is made in Argentina using one of the finest cottons in the world: cotton from the northeastern region of Argentina, specifically from the province of Chaco. Its Super Soft finish is achieved through a combing process of the fiber prior to spinning.
Currently, it is available in 40 colors and in three thicknesses (weights): Fingering, DK, and Worsted.
This yarn is ideal for all delicate projects that will be in contact with sensitive skin due to its extreme softness: blankets, baby items, garments, and more.
